Teacher Training Courses

Teacher training courses are a great way of making a good use of your degree, especially if you are not sure what career to take once you have finished your course.

Whatever subject you have a degree in, you will be able to take a teacher training qualification. This will allow you to teach the subject in schools and colleges.

This can be an extremely rewarding career as you can help youngsters enjoy and learn a subject which you know a lot about.

It can be great fun watching them increase their knowledge and progress in the subject. Imagine how you can make a difference to a child's life. They are like sponges soaking up new information and as a teacher you can have a big influence on their lives.

A teacher can either make them enthused or repulsed by a subject and if you get it right you should be able to excite them.

The course is just a year and although it is very intense, it does mean that you will be able to start teaching pretty quickly.

There are also often government grants for this type of course which means that you will not have to worry about covering your costs.

They may not pay your full living expenses but if they at least pay the course fees, this can be a great help.

If you do not have a degree and want to teach then there are longer teaching training courses that you can do which will teach you for three of four years and give you the equivalent qualification to a degree and a one year course.

It will take longer and this is a disadvantage but it will lead you in to the most rewarding career you could ever wish to have.
